Common questions from drivers
What hardware do I need to run DRIFT TUNE?

DRIFT TUNE works with our GripDial sensor modules. For minimum setup capabilities to get you 80% there, you'll need at least the GripDial GDK GPS and GripDial Precision IMU Modules. Optimum setup would also include GripDial's Tire Temperature Sensors, Damper Pots, Accelerometers, Wheel Speed Sensors, Steering Angle Sensors, and more.
Does it work with any car chassis?

Yes. DRIFT TUNE is chassis-agnostic. If it moves, we can measure it and we can improve its suspension settings and path around track.
Can I use DRIFT TUNE for sim racing too?

DRIFT TUNE AC will be releasing soon for free for use inside of Assetto Corsa to dial in your virtual drift cars for different tracks.
How accurate is the vehicle tracking?

With our GDK GPS module, you get accurate millimeter to centimeter-level accuracy. This is the highest level of GPS precision on the market utilizing our own mesh of different technologies.
Do you offer trackside support?

Yes. GripDial offers on-site support at select Formula Drift and grassroots events. We sign NDAs and never share your data with anyone outside of your organization or team.
